My early years were epent in the DIY punk rock scene in Los Angeles. I played with many bands including Momma, Slow Hollows, Current Joys and many more. I even got to help run sound at Coachella 2017. Then I fell in love with stop motion animation and decided to attend California Institute of the Arts where I studied under Stephen Chiodo (creator of “Killer Klowns”, Tim Burton’s “Vincent” and Large Marge on “Pee Wee’s Big Adventure”). No matter what the medium, story is paramount. Fabricating scenery was one of my favorite parts of working in stop motion so I decided to look for a job in that.
After graduating with a BA in Animation, I worked as a miniatures fabricator and set builder for Vision Scenery. Here we worked on projects for Game of Thrones, Swiss Airlines, FOX Televison, Ghost, Lululemon, Stussy and many more clients. Since then I have art directed at a local theme park, organized film festivals and punk rock shows. My most recent gig has been being a stage tech for Magic Mountian. Here I help them fabricate scenery, run sound and lighting, paint, woodwork and help run our events.
